x32 Losing scene safes when powered down

Recently when I power up the X32 all my scene safes are cleared. I have to go set them all back again. This didn't use to happen. Has anyone else experienced this? What might be causing it. I was thinking maybe the cmos battery, but I am not losing the clock settings so not sure.
    Thanks

Not sure. However the console could be getting its time clock off a connected device running edit (eg laptop, ipad etc.) Are any of these things connected? If so, disconnect them, then see if the time is remembered between reboots.

    Hi Todd,

Thanks for reaching out to bring this to our attention here in the forum. Sorry to hear that you are experiencing this with your mixer. Is your X32 still within it's 3 year warranty period?

If the internal clock doesn't keep resetting every time you power down/up your mixer then replacing the internal CMOS battery probably won't help. If your X32 is still within it's warranty period then I think it would best to contact our CARE team and have it properly serviced by a specialized technician. If your mixer is no longer under warranty then you can attempt to change the CMOS battery out yourself, but I'm not sure if it will help with your safes not being remembered.

There is the potential that the internal RAM of your mixer is experiencing some sort of abnormality, and that would definitely require service by one of our specialized techs. You can reach CARE by phone at 702-800-8290 (US) or +44 1562 732290 (UK) or send us an email to CARECREA@music-group.com and one of our technical CARE specialists will be glad to assist you.

Please don't hesitate to contact me here via PM if there's anything else I can do to assist you with this here in the forum.
