Need balanced mono XLR monitor out on X1832USB

    Thanks for the replies.

    I found an external FX (FEX800) box that was lost and I suppose I can use that to create a wet monitor mix.

    I'm evaluating an XR16 right now as well (thanks for the suggestion Paul). It sure does solve a lot of problems and provides for a lot less gear. I'm just afraid of the wireless connection dying mid set and not being able to quickly kill feedback, etc.

    Hi Ed,

    Glad to hear that you are evaluating the XR16. This does allow you to send Fx to the monitors as you desire.

    Regarding the wireless drop outs, I been using a combination of X32 Racks, XR18, MR18 and MR12 with external routers for the past 4+ years and have almost no wireless issues, other than the occasional 2.4Ghz band congestion (multiple other wifi routers). Switching all my tablets (many for monitor mixes) to dual band models will eventually eliminate that problem (for the most part). Last year I did sound for 65 events without issue and this year looks as though it will be similar.
